Who we are

CleverNod is a small business based in London, UK. We make tap-to-review stands, stickers and smart cards for local businesses. You can contact us at hello@clevernod.co.uk.

What we collect and why

Demo request form. If you fill in our form, we receive the details you give us: your name, business name, phone number or email, area and message. We use them only to reply to you and arrange a demo. The form is sent to our business email inbox.

Emails. If you email us, we keep the conversation so we can help you.

Tap links. When someone taps a CleverNod stand or scans its QR code, they pass through a short CleverNod link (for example clevernod.co.uk/t/business-name) on their way to the business's review page. We may count how many times each link is used per day. We do not record who tapped, and we don't use cookies or tracking.

Legal basis

We use your details because you asked us to contact you, or because we have a legitimate interest in running and improving our service.

Who else handles your data

Our website and email forwarding run on Cloudflare, and our inbox is provided by Google (Gmail). They process data for us under their own privacy terms. We never sell your details or share them for marketing.

How long we keep it

We keep demo requests and emails for up to 2 years after our last contact, unless you become a customer and we need them for our records. Then we keep them for as long as the law requires.

Your rights

You can ask us to see, correct or delete the details we hold about you. Just email hello@clevernod.co.uk. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
